Madeline Zima was born on September 16, 1985, in New Haven, Connecticut. She moved to New York with her parents when she was a child.
Madeline always wanted to act and model and her dreams were realized in 1992 when she got a chance to act in the movie "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle". The movie proved to be highly successful and it opened new avenues for the rising actress.
Madeline Zima soon got a spot in the flick "Mr. Nanny" and appeared as a guest in "Law & Order".
In 1993, Madeline got the chance to act in the series "The Nanny" and she moved to Los Angeles.
"The Nanny" ran for six fruitful years which gave Madeline some nice experience in the field of acting. After this series, Madeline bagged a number of movie appearances including "Lethal Vows" (1999) and "The Sandy Bottom Orchestra" (2000).
