She is the daughter of Patty Hearst, who was victim of a kidnap, and her husband, the former bodyguard, Bernard Shaw.
She became famous after she appeared on the cover of Vogue Magazine and since than appeared on catwalks of Louis Vuitton, Moschino Cheap & Chic, Prada and others.
She also appeared in commercials for Clinique and L'Oreal.
Lydia will inherit William Randolph Hearst's media empire, which is reported to produce 5 billion US dollars a year annually.
Even though she appeared pretty late, because many supermodels are discovered at early age, she is considered very good and appeared on the covers of
Vogue and Marie Claire Magazine.
