Luminita Anghel was born on October 7, 1968 in Bucharest, Romania. She is a famous Romanian singer.
Biography and Career :
Luminita Anghel studied at Popular Art School, the Music section and after that she attended the Psychology-Sociology Faculty from the University of Spiru Haret.
Since she was 8 years old Luminita Anghel discovered her passion for music and started to sing.
Her artistic career is based on a wonderful voice fact materialised in winning a lot of national and international contests.
Luminita Anghel also collaborated with a lot of televisions like : Prima TV, TVR, TVR 2 where she hosted different shows since 1998.
Luminita Anghel together with "Sistem" - the percussion band, repr
esented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, with the song Let Me Try and they were ranked third in the final.

- 1995 : Mamaia Music Festival - Third Place;
- 2001 : Festivalul Cerbul de Aur - Golden Price for best interpretation and awarded for popularity;
- 2002 : Golden award and best international voice at "Festivalul Cantec Pentru Europa" in Malta
- 2003 : Golden award for best international interpret at : " Festivalul International Vocea Asiei"
- 2003 : Second place at The International Festival from Cairo, Egypt with the song "I ask you why"
