Lumidee (real name Lumidee Cedegno) was born on August 24, 1984 in East Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S. She is female R&B singer, songwriter and rapper of Puerto Rican descent.
Biography and Career :
Since 1995 she and her two brothers and two sisters were raised by their grandparents because their father died that year.
Her debut album was released in 2003 and it was called "Almost Famous". Besides that she released another one in 2007. She sings Hip hop, Reggaeton, R&B and New Jack Swing.
Between 2003 and 2007 she had a contract with Universal Records and after she signed a new one with TVT Records. She became famous all over the world and her singles were placed on good positions in
the charts.
Some of her singles are "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)" featuring Busta Rhymes & Fabolous, "Crashin' a Party", "Dance" featuring Fatman Scoop, "Crazy" featuring Pitbull or "Feel Like Makin' Love". She also collaborated with artists like Speedy, N.O.R.E., Lil Rob, La Negra or Chingo Bling.
