Lucinda Williams was born on January 26, 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, U.S. She is an American rock, folk, and country music singer and songwriter.
Biography and Career :
In 1978 she started her musical career and since then she writes and performs great songs. Her first album was released in 1979 and it was called "Ramblin'". Besides that she released another seven albums. Some of her singles are "Right in Time" or "Righteously".
During the years she had won three Grammy Awards and was chosen in 2002 "America's best songwriter" by TIME magazine. She was among VH1's 100 Greatest Women of Rock N Roll.
There is no doubt that her career will continue having a great success from now on too and we all expect her new singles and albums.
