Lizzie West was born on on July 21, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York. She is a singer/songwriter. Her music can be described as a blend of many genres including country, folk, blues, pop, and rock.

Biography and Career :

In 1991 she moved to London and after four years decided to come back to the United States.

She sings a mixture of country, folk, blues, pop and rock and has a band called "Lizzie West and the White Buffalo".

In 2003 she released her first album, "Holy Road: Freedom Songs". In that period of time she had a contract with Warner Bros. Records. Some of her singles are Dusty Turnaround, Sometime, and Holy Road. Her second album, I Pledge Allegiance To Myself.

Besides being a musician she also appeared in movies fro example "Dawson's Creek" in 2003, NBC's "Thir d Watch" and ABC's "Alias" and she has many fans.

She says that is inspired by the work of Walt Whitman, Jack Kerouac, William Blake, Ralph Waldo Emerson and mostly Leonard Cohen. With her talent and brain she managed to become a successful person and so will remain many years from now on.
