Lisa Raye (full name LisaRaye McCoy-Misick) was born on September 23, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She is a talented actress and the First Lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands because of her marriage with The Honorable Michael Misick.

Biography and Career :

She attended Eastern Illinois University and soon after this she got married but it was a failure and she remained a young single mother.

She started her acting career by participating for an audition for a local film called "Reasons" and soon after this she appeared as a guest star in black sitcoms like "In the house" and "Martin".

In 1998 appeared in the debut movie of Ice Cube as a director "The players club" after Ice Cube saw her in Tupac Shakur's final video, "Toss it Up".

In 2000 she obtained the job as co-host of "Source: All Access", a popular hip-hop news and entertainment show. After this she appeared in other movies like: Rhapsody (2000), The Cheapest Movie Ever Made (2000), Date from Hell (2001), and All About You (2001).

In 2003 she played in "Gang of Roses" and recorded a song with Benzino and Lil Kim. In 2006 she married with The Honorable Michael Misick, chief minister of the Turks and Caicos Islands and became First Lady there.
