Linkin Park is a rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold more than fifty million albums and won two Grammy Awards.

Biography and Career :

The band was founded in 1996 and they sing Alternative rock, Alternative metal, Nu metal and Rap rock.

Until 1998 the band's name was Xero, then it was changed into Hybrid Theory and finally in 2000 they decided for Linkin Park.

Until now they released seven albums and Eps, all of them very successful. The boys received two Grammy Awards among other prizes and trophies. They collaborated with Dead By Sunrise, Fort Minor or Jay-Z and are very popular in the entire world. Besides albums they also released several DVD and VHS .

Between 1996 and 1998 Mark Wakefield was the vocalist of the band. Now the group is formed of Chester Bennington, lead vocalist, Mike Shinoda, vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist and pianist, Brad Delson, lead guitarist, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, bass guitarist and backing vocalist, Joe Hahn, who is taking care of turntables, programming, samples and beats and Rob Bourdon, the drummer.
