Linda Lampenius (real name Linda Lampenius) was born on February 26, 1970 in Helsinki, Finland. She is a Finnish classical violinist.
Biography and Career :
She is the daughter of Bi¶rje Lampenius, a former theater director, singer and also a composer of musicals and operettas and a former singer and actress. She made contact with music at the age of three when she went at a "music kindergarten" and at the age of five she began to take violin lessons.
As a member of Helsinki Junior Strings she traveled in Canada and United States and beginning with the age of fifteen she toured as a member and concertmaster in many orchestras from Japan, S
candinavia and Great Britain.
As a musician, Linda became very famous and has performed and been interviewed on various television and radio shows from CNN to Entertainment Tonight.
In 1997 she made her debut on American TV screens with a role in "Fame L.A." after she had some apparitions on TV in Finland on television shows such as Kadonnut Ni¤ky and Uuno Turhapuro, playing a violinist.
She posed nude with her violin in Playboy and the pictures were very appreciated by men all over the world. She also was a guest star in Baywatch after she caught the attention of Doug Schwartz, one of the producers who saw her at Hef's 1998 New Year's bash. After she returned from America, in 2002, she moved in Stockholm, Sweden, and became the Tourism Ambassador of Finland in Sweden.
