Lillix is pop/rock band from Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada, formed under the name Tigerlily in 1997 when the early members were in high school.

Biography and Career :

The group was founded by sisters Lacey Lee Evin and Tasha Ray Evin, and Louise Burns who were goof friends and grew up in the small town of Cranbrook, British Columbia. The Evin sisters took contact with music from an early age when they started to write songs and learn playing guitar.

Initially the three girls with Sierra Hills formed a band in 1997 which they called Tigerlily. In 2001 the band changed its name and became called Lillix signed a contract with Mavericks records. After one year Sierra left the band and was replaced by Kim U rhahn, and later by Alicia Warrington.

Their debut album "Falling Uphill" appeared in May 2003 in Canada and United Stated and in August 2003 in Japan. The singles from this album like "It's About Time", "Tomorrow", and "What I Like About You", which is a cover for the eponymous song by The Romantics and is featured on the 2003 Freaky Friday soundtrack, and is the theme song for the comedy series What I Like About You were appreciated by fans and critics.

The second album "Inside the Hollow" was launched in 2006 in Canada and United States first and in Japan after and promoted only one single "Sweet Temptation (Hollow)".

In 2007 Alicia Warrington left the band and Evin sisters announced that other members will be co-opted and the band will be re-built: drummer Eric Hoodicoff and bassist Scott Thompson.
