Lili Damita (born Liliane Marie-Madeleine Carre) was born in Blaye, Gironde, Aquitaine, France on July 10, 1904 and died on March 21, 1994. She is known as being a French actress who had appeared in 33 movies within 15 years.
In her early life she studied ballet in several European countries and at the age of 14 she enrolled in the Opera of Paris as a dancer. She performed as a photographic model and after she won a beauty contest she was luckily and appeared in the beginning in silent films. Because she has proven her talent she had outstanding performances in films like: Das Spielzeug von Paris, Die Grosse Abenteuerin, Man Spielt Nicht mit der Liebe and others.

Lili Damita was married three times. Her first husband was Hungarian-born director Michael Curtis but their marriage least only 1 year.
Lili’s second husband was Errol Flynn with whom she has a son, Sean Leslie Flynn.
Her third marriage took place in Palm Beach, Florida with Allen Loomis.
During the Vietnam War, Lili’s son, Sean disappeared and Lili spent time and money in a attempt to find him. After several unsuccessful attempts Sean Flynn was declared death.
Lili Damita died at the age of 89 of Alzheimer’s disease in Palm Beach, Florida.
