
Lela Rochon (full name Lela Rochon Staples) was born on April 17, 1964 in
Los Angeles, California, USA. She is a popular and successful actress mostly known for her role as Robin Stokes in the movie "Waiting to Exhale".
Biography and Career :
Zelma Staples and Samuel Staples are her parents. She had attended Cerritos High School, California and California State University. The role as Robin Stokes in the movie "Waiting to Exhale" made her a famous and successful actress.
During her college years she was seen in many Spuds Mckenzie Budweiser/Bud Light television commercials. She also appeared in a music video for Levert. Other roles she had had until now were in movies like "Any Given Sunday", "Breakin'
", "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" and "First Daughter".
Between 1982 and 1987 she was married to Adolfo Quinones. On April 9, 1999 she married Antoine Fuqua. The couple has now three children: Zachary Fuqua, Brando and Asia Rochon Fuqua. She is a great woman, a talented actress and a wonderful mother to her children, not to mention a devoted wife.
