Leelee Sobieski (birth name Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta Sobieski) was born on June 10, 1983 in New York City, New York, USA. She is a young popular actress.

Biography and Career :

She was in a school cafeteria when a casting director discovered her great talent. Jean Sobieski and Elizabeth are her parents' names. They are both artists: a painter and a writer.

In 1998 she received a role in "Deep Impact" and this was a great step in her acting career. Then in the next year she was seen in "Eyes Wide Shut" along Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Her next important role was in "Joan of Arc". She was then nominated at the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards.

Other roles she had were in movies like "Jungle 2 Jungle", "Never Been Kissed", "Here on Earth", "My First Mister", "The Glass House", "Uprising, Joy Ride", "Max" or "Hercules". She is a very talented actress and has an entire career ahead to prove what she is capable of.
