Lee Ann Womack was born on August 19, 1966 in Jacksonville, Texas, United States. She is a Grammy Award-winning American country-pop artist.
Biography and Career :
She had attended South Plains Junior College in Levelland, Texas. In 1997 she started her music career and in the same year she released her first album. Besides that she released another six albums, all of them very successful. She sings country and country pop and is a songwriter too.
In 1990 she married Jason Sellers. They have one child, Aubrie Lee, but in the end got divorced. On November 6, 1999 she married Frank Liddell. They have a child, Annalise, who was born in 1999.
She has a contract with Mercury Nashville Records. Some of her singles are "Never Again, Again", "The Fool", "A Little Past Little Roc
k", "I'll Think of a Reason Later", "I Hope You Dance", "Sick and Tired" or "I May Hate Myself in the Morning".
During the years she won many awards, some of them are: five Academy of Country Music Awards, British Country Music Award, American Music Association Award, seven Country Music Association Awards, Grammy Award or Billboard Music Award.
