Lauren Conrad (full name Lauren Katherine Conrad) was born on February 1, 1986, in Laguna Beach, California.
While in her high school, Lauren Conrad was selected to participate in the reality show "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County". The program received huge success and made a star out of young Lauren. She enrolled at the Academy of Art University for a degree in fashion design. However, she returned back home as she felt homesick after her first semester. Later on, she got a job with Three Dots, a clothing company based in LA.

She was cast on the show "The Hills" on MTV in 2005. She also got a spot on the show "Teen Vogue" while studying at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
In March 2008, Lauren launched her own line of clothing.
