Laura Vandervoort (full name Laura Dianne Vandervoort) was born on September 22, 1984, in Toronto, Ontario. In her early days, Laura was highly interested in sports. However, she developed an interest in acting and chose it as her career.

Her debut acting gig was in the series “Goosebumps” in 1997. She also appeared in short roles in the shows “Twice in a Lifetime” and “Are You Afraid of the Dark”. During this time, Laura acted in her debut movie “Alley Cats Strike”, a Disney production.
