
Laura Linner (full name Laura Liggett Linney) was born on February 5, 1964, in
New York. She is the daughter of dramatist Romulus Linney. In her early days, Laura Linney was closely influenced by theatres of New York. She was a student of acting at Julliard.
In the beginning of the 1990s, Laura Linney began acting in Broadway. She received the Joe A. Callaway Award for her acting in the drama “Hedda Gabler”. She also appeared in the drama “Six Degrees of Separation”.
During this time, Laura acted in a number of movies. In 1992, Laura Linney acted in “Lorenzo’s Oil”. In 1993, she appeared in the movies “Searching for Bobby Fischer” and “Dave”.
