Lady Gaga (real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) was born on March 28, 1986, in New York City, New York, USA. She is a famous artist, well known around the World.

Biography and Career:

She was born in an Italian family. As a child she was interested in music and was influenced by Cyndi Lauper and Michael Jackson. She learned piano at the age of 4 all by herself and was already writing her own songs when she was just a teen. At 14, she played at open mike concerts in New York's Bitter E nd. In 2003, at the age of 17, she entered the prestigious Tisch School of Arts at New York University.

She began playing hits like "Beautiful Dirty Rich" at Lower East Side club and was particularly noted for her unique on-stage dresses. At the age of 20, she began working for Interscope Records and also wrote songs for musicians and bands like The Pussycat Dolls, Fergie, Britney Spears and Akon.

She gave an unique performance at Lollapalooza in August 2007 and her debut album titled "Fame" was released in 2008 and it was composed of hit songs like "Just Dance", "Boys, Boys, Boys" and "Beautiful Dirty Rich".

In addition to this, she performed at the Winter Music Conference in March, 2008 and in the reality show So You Think You Can. She also sang at the Miss Universe 2008 pageant. In September, 2008, Lady Gaga was seen on MTV's The Hills with Whitney Port, Heidi Montag, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge.
