La La Vasquez (full name Alani "La La" Vasquez) was born on June 25, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. She is an American disc jockey, television personality and MTV VJ of Puerto Rican descent. Her fame came with her debut in a radio show alongside Ludacris, called Future Flavas.

Biography and Career :

After she finished high school her family moved from New York to Georgia and La La became a programming assistant at a local radio station. She moved in Washington DC to study communications at Howard University and after she finished she returned near her family in Georgia and started to work in radio.

She had her big first success after she hosted a show with Ludacris called Future Flavas. In 1999 she moved in Los Angeles, California and started to work at a radio station KKBT. There she was remarked by MTV and she was called for an audition but was hired only in 2003.

At MTV she was the co-host of “Direct Effect and “Total Request Live”, along with hosting the reunion specials for both seasons of VH1's “Flavor of Love” and the first seasons of “I Love New York” and “Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School”. She also had minor roles in movies like Two Can Play That Game (2001), Urban Massacre (2002), Monster Island (2003) and You Got Served (2004).
