Kyle Richards, a famous American, actress was born on 11th January 1969 in Hollywood, California, USA. She is daughter of Kathleen and Ken Richards. In 1972 they separated. Her father passed away in 1998 and at the same time her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Kyle's mother passed away in 2002. Kyle started her career in the field of acting at a very young age. Her first appearance was in TV Show, "Little House on the Prairie" in 1974. She played the role of Alicia Sanderson Edwards and her sister played the role of Olga, Laura's friend. She has made many appearances in the same show. Kyle is having four daughters: Farrah, Alexia, Sophia, Portia. She is married to Mauricio Umansky. Paris Hilton an d Nicky Hilton are her nieces.

In 1970's, Kyle Richards has also appeared in many horror films: Haloween, Eaten Alive, The Car etc. In 1980s, she appeared in children's horror film Disney. She has worked small roles throughout 1980s. In 1978, Kyle performed in movies "The Million Dollar Dixie Deviverance" and "Halloween", directed by John Carpenter. She has also performed in the movie "Amateur Night at the Dixie Bar and Grill", directed by Joel Schumacher.

With Better Davis, Kyle has done acting in the horror film "The Watcher in the Woods"; in this movie she had performed the role of "Ellie Curtis". In a mini-series "Beulah Land" , she had performed with Lesley Ann Warren and Hope Lange. Kyle Richards had done role of "Lindsey Wallace" in "Halloween II".

She is recently seen performing the role of Nurse Dori on a hit television series "ER". She is also playing a minor role in film "National Lampoon's Pledge This!". Recently Kyle had appeared with Paris Hilton in a reality series "The Simple Life and My New BFF". She is currently working for a reality series from Bravo – "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". It was expected that the reality show will start in October 2010.
