Kumi Koda (birth name Kumiko Koda) was born on November 13, 1982 in Kyoto, Japan. She is a singer who became famous after the release of her seventh single, "Real Emotion / 1000 no Kotoba" and became one of the best-selling artists of 2005 with "Best ~first things~".

Biography and Career :

Chie Ayado, her father, is a Jazz singer. She started her career as a pop singer in 2000 and has contracts with Rhythm Zone in Japan and SM Entertainment in Korea. Her first album was released in 2002, and it is called "affection" and besides that she released another eight.

During the years she became very popular and received many awards including "Triple Crown" at the Japan Gold Disc Awards in March 2006, for winning three awards: "Pop Artist of the Year", "Pop Album of the Year", and "Music Video of the Year". She also received the "Nail Queen" for her nail art at Japan Nail Expo.

With her talent, good look, intelligence and charm she will surely conquer the hearts of many people from now on too.
