Kristin Davis (full name Kristin Landen Davis) was born on February 23, 1965 in Boulder, Colorado, USA. She is a popular actress best known for the role of Charlotte York on HBO's "Sex and the City".
Biography and Career :
Althought she was born in Boulder, Kristin moved with her parents to Columbia, South Carolina because of her father's work. She lived in South Carolina until she graduated from A.C. Flora High School in 1983. She then moved to New Jersey, where she attended Rutgers University.
One of her first important roles was the one in the television series "Melrose Place". She also appeared in "Friends" and "Seinfeld". Other movies she was seen in are "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D", "The Shaggy Dog" or "The Halls".
She is the winner of Screen Act
ors Guild Award for Best Ensemble - Comedy Series with "Sex and the City". The role of Charlotte York also brought her Golden Globe and Emmy Awards nominations. She has a great and successful career and will surely continue having it. Some of her former boyfriends are Alec Baldwin, Jeff Goldblum and Liev Schreiber. In 2008 she will appear in the movie "Sex and the City".
