Konrad Lorenz (1903-1989) was an Austrian ethologist.
Short Biography:
Director of the Max Planck Institute for the Physiology of Behaviour in Bavaria (1955-1973), he wrote the studies of ethology (animal behaviour) King Solomon's Ring in 1952 and On Aggression in 1966.
In 1973 he shared the Nobel Prize for Medicine with Nikolaas QTinbergen and Karl von Frisch.
