Her career started after she won a fashion contest in Dallas and signed a contract with a fashion model agency.

She finished her studies at Permian High School.

Kim had a boyfriend Tyson Ritter for four years and he is lead singer of the band The All-American Rejects.

She appeared in music videos and in campaigns of Victoria's Secret and Guess.
