She studied at the St-Peters High School in Orleans, Ontario. Teresa Agnelo is her mother and manager. In 2002 she started her music career and after two years released her first album, named after her.
Then, in 2006 she released the album "2U". Both albums were very successful and now she is a popular singer. Some of her singles are Shook, Unpredictable, Does He Love Me?, Ring The Alarm or Been Gone.
During the years she won awards like JUNO Award for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, Urban Music Award for Video of the Year for "Does He Love Me", for Best Ne
