Kelly Rowland (birth name Kelendria Trene Rowland) was born on February 11, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She is a well known musician and former member of Destiny's Child along superstar Beyonce.
Biography and Career :
She studied at the Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. At first she was one of the girls in the Destiny's Child group and they were very successful worldwide. It was a big step in her career but when they decided to break up she continued as a single artist and in 2002 managed to release her first album called "Simply Deep".
She continued recording songs and prepared her next album which was released in 2007 and it's
name is "Ms. Kelly". Some of her singles are "Dilemma" with Nelly, "Stole", "Like This" featuring Eve or "Ghetto" featuring Snoop Dogg.
During the years she received awards along her band mates and as a solo artist she won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, a Capital FM Award for London's Favorite International Single, two TMF Awards and a Billboard Award for Hot Rap Track of The Year.
She likes helping others and every year participates at many charity actions. We are sure her career will continue having an enormous success and her fans will encourage her to go on.
