Biography and Career
Born Kellie Noelle Martin to Debbie, a kindergarten teacher and Doug, a department store buyer, Kellie would often perform for her family. When she was 7, Kellie's aunt, Rhonda Jett, helped her to get a guest spot on Michael Landon's 'Father Murphy' (1982).
In the 1990s, Kellie made several appearances in television series, such as 'seaQuest DSV' (1993), 'Aladdin' (1994), and 'Taz-Mania' (1991). She starred in her own series, 'Christy' (1994). In this period, Kellie also appeared TV films like 'A Goofy Movie' (1995), and starred in 'Death of a Cheerleader' (1994), 'The Face on the Milk Carton' (1995), and 'Crisis Center' (1997). She had also postponed her education at Yale Unive
rsity so that she could join the cast of 'ER' (1998-2000).
Kellie graduated from Yale University in 2001 with a degree in art history, and continued with her acting career. She starred in 'Mystery Woman' (2003), a Hallmark Channel movie, and it turned out very successful, and in turn saw her making ten more movies in the same series, out of which Kellie directed 2. In 2006, Kellie starred in 'Live Once, Die Twice' and 'A Friend to Die for' and 'No Brother of Mine', all films by Lifetime.
Kellie's latest endeavours include appearances in 'Ghost Whisperer' (2009), 'Grey's Anatomy' (2009) and 'Private Practice' (2009).
Kellie married Keith Christian in 1999, and welcomed their first child, Margaret in 2006.
