Biography and Career
Born Ashley Spalding in Singapore to Filipino parents, Kaylani and her family immigrated to the United States and lived in a few states before settling down in Las Vegas, Nevada. When she was 18, she started exploring the world of exotic dancing, and worked as a house dancer in a Las Vegas club, before she decided to go into a career in adult films.
Kaylani relocated to Los Angeles, and found success in the adult entertainment industry. She started off working under director Michael Raven, with Wicked Pictures, and went on to produce a whole catalog of diverse Wicked films such as 'Angel X' , 'Wicked Auditions' , and 'Wicked Auditions 2'. She received popular votes from fans and critics alike.
Kaylani impressed the top management of Wicked Pictures, particularly the owner and president, Steve Orenstein, so much so that he offered her an exclusive contract with the company. Since then, she has produced and appeared in more than 130 films with the company, although she was pursued by other companies like Vivid Entertainment, Hustler Video, Sin City and New Sensations. Kaylani also went on to ink a deal with California Exotic Novelties for her own line of sex toys.
Other than filming adult movies, Kaylani also hosts a radio show on KSEX, Me So Horny With Kaylani Lei, with co-host Kitty Langdon. She has also made an appearance on Howard Stern Radio, as well as appear on Playboy TV. She recently co-starred in the Cinemax series 'The Erotic Traveller' (2007), as an apprentice photographer, Allison Kraft.
