Katie Griffiths was born in 1989 in Chigwell, Essex, England. Her career as an actress began in 2002 when appearing in the film 'Adam & Eve' - which is also known as 'Forbidden Fruit', she had landed a small part in the choir. Her next appearance was in one episode of Casualty as 'Lucy Hainford' in the episode: 'Close Encounters' in the year 2007. Later that year (September) she appeared in the TV programme 'Coming Down the Mountain', also starring: Nicholas Hoult. She was a character called Alice.

In 2008 Katie Griffiths wrote a Short Comedy with Daniel Smith, of which they both appeared in as: Michelle & David the show was called 'After Work Drinks'. Again in 2008 she had a guest appearance in the Drama TV Series of 'Doctors' as 'Gemma Mason' in the episode: 'The One'.

She is curr ently starring in the popular dramatic TV Series 'Waterloo Road. She has been in the series since the beginning; 2006-Present, starring in 40 episodes as Chlo Grainger (Chlo Charles - once she married her high school boyfriend: Donte Charles).

So far there has been 4 series' of the show. The fifth series is currently being written.
