Katie Derham was born on June 18, 1970 in Stockport, Cheshire, England. She is a famous presenter and TV Host. She had her initial education at "Cheadle Hulme School", Stockport, Greater Manchester and completed her Honors in Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Magdalene College in Cambridge.
Katie started her career in broadcasting at BBC Network, as a researcher on the Radio 4's famous show "Moneybox". She has also won the "Best Personal Finance Broadcaster Award" for BBC's Radia Five show, "MoneyCheck" in 1995.
She also worked as a consumer affairs correspondent and a reporter on the movie programme. In 1998 she joined ITN as Media and Arts Editor. Katie has also hosted the "Classical BRIT Awards" ceremony from 2001 to 2004. Besides her career in BBC she has also hosted many other
shows like, "Hell's Kitchen", "Have I Got News for You" and "Smash!".
