Biography and Career

Kathy Shower, was famous as Playmate of the year 1986, and also equally famous as the oldest playmate of the year to appear in the pages of Playboy Magazine, Kathy is also a reasonably accomplished actress who has proven her mettle in the volume, if not the hard quality of roles she has taken on. She is the oldest playmate to be chosen as Playmate Of The Year at the age of 33.
It was from these appearances that Kathy went into acting, taking up roles which were in the action thriller and erotic drama genre. Although she had a few other riles which strayed from them, the majority of films she appeared in would confirm to the former genre.
Kathy had notable appearances in 'Simon & Simon' (1984), 'Airwolf' (1984), 'K night Rider' (1986), 'Santa Barbara' (1986), and 'Mike Hammer' (1984). After 1987, she proceeded on to film appearances in 'Commando Squad' (1987), ' Velvet Dream' (1988), 'Cyber-C.H.I.C' (1989), 'American Kickboxer 2' (1993), 'L.A. Goddess' (1993), 'Hotline' (1994) and 'Baja Run' (1995). Her last film was 'Lover Letters: A Romantic Trilogy' (2001), which features Kathy appearing in the role of writer, Cindy, who looks to her friends for exciting stories about their personal and sexual lives.

Kathy returned to Playboy Magazine for a short stint in 1997, and also produced a video/DVD for them under the same issue.

In 2003, Kathy officially quit the acting.
