Kate Middleton (full name Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton) was born on January 9, 1982 in Reading, Berkshire, England. She became a famous woman in Britain after she started a relationship with Prince William of Wales.

Biography and Career :

She spent her childhood in Bucklebury, Berkshire and attended St Andrew's School, Pangbourne, the public school Marlborough College and after, the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. In 2005 she graduated and obtained a degree in History of Art.

Kate Middleton is now (2007) an assistant accessories buyer with the British clothing chain Jigsaw.

In 2001 she met Prince William while they were both studying at the University of St Andrews. They were s een together for the first time in April 2004 on a ski trip in Klosters. On Christmas 2006 the Queen invited her at lunch, but she preferred to stay with her own family.

She is bothered by the press, she wants to keep her life private and she even spoke to her lawyer about this.
