Kat Von D (real name Katherine von Drachenberg) was born on March 8, 1982 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She is a tattoo artist.

Biography and Career :

At the age of four she moved with her family in California. Because she did her first tattoo at a really early age, 14, and also because she worked for the first time in a tattoo shop when she was 16, she was very close to the world of tattoos.

She is now working at the Miami Ink studio in Miami Beach, Florida, at the True Tattoo shop in Hollywood, California and Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas, Texas.

She appeared in a music video, in HIM's "Killing Loneliness". She is working as a tattoo artist in both America and Canada and is accomplished in portrait and realisti c art with an emphasis on black and gray scale. Kat Von D got married to Oliver Peck, also a tattoo artist.

She also worked in other places like Elm Street Tattoo in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas and Inflictions in Covina, California. A lot of celebrities have tattoos made by Kat von D: A. B. Quintanilla Eric Malburg, Matt Skiba, Kurk Gravitron, Davey Havok, Eric Balfour, Mike Vallely, Ryan Wombacher, Kimi Huggerbean, Scott Danough, Brandan Schieppati, Derek Youngsma, Bam Margera, Ville Valo, Steve-O, Gordon Listerine, Frank Iero, Travis Barker, Nick 13, Jeffree Star, Scott Ian, Nicole Richie, Sebastian Bach, Margaret Cho, and Eve.
