Her career started almost without her will because at the age of 17 a friend entered her into a competition. The agency selected her and after participating and winning she became a fashion model. In 1985 she decided to participate at the Elite 'Look of the Year' contest and she came on the second place. After this event, Elite Paris offered her a contract.
As an important model she is had modelled and done campaigns for Calvin Klein, Claude Montana, Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche fragrance, Guerlain, Chloe, Valentino, Revlon, Jacques Fath, Gianfranco Ferre, Gianni Versace, Chanel, Giorigio Armani and Herve Leger.
