Kanye West (full name Kanye Omari West) was born on June 8, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is a very talented and famous American singer and songwriter.

Biography and Career :

Ray West and Donda West are his parents' names and they divorced in 1980. He had attended The American Academy of Art and the Chicago State University / Columbia College, Chicago but renounced in order to have a music career. Besides being a singer he also sings the piano and percussion.

He is a successful rapper and is associated with artists like Jay-Z, Common, John Legend, Talib Kweli, Consequence , T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco or J. Dilla. All his albums had a great success and were sold very well. He has a contract with Roc A Fella Records.

During the years his talent was rewarded with 5 BET Awards, 2 BET Hip Hop Awards, one BRIT Award, 6 Grammy Awards, one MTV Europe Music Award, one MTV Video Music Awards and 2 Vibe Awards.

He has a record label called GOOD Music. His fans can't wait to see him on tours and they encourage and support him very much. He is now a wealthy person and thanks to his talent and hard work has an exceptional career. We are sure he will continue doing a great job in the music world.
