Kaila Yu (birth name Li Ting Yu) was born on May 16, 1979 in Taipei, Taiwan. She is a pop singer and a model.
Biography and Career :
When she was only three years old her family moved from Taiwan to California. She attended the UC San Diego college and transferred to UCLA. Living in Los Angeles helped her modeling and singing careers.
She became a popular model after her appearance in import car shows. Some of the magazines in which she was seen are: Import Tuner, Playboy and FHM. August 2000 was the date of her pictorial appearance in Playboy magazine and after this she was seen on Playboy TV, The Man Show and MTV's House of Style. She posed for calendars like Asian Angels Calendar 2002, Pacific USA Calendar 2002, Island Eyes Calendar 2002, Pacific USA 2001 Calendar and C
alifornia's 10's Club Calendar.
On June 10, 2003 she released her first album, called "Kaila", and in 2007 she released another one. Some of her singles are "Our Last Night", "Move", "Roll Away" and "Candy Coated Sugar Sex". She played in two music videos, one of Brian Setzer Band and one of Black Eyed Peas, "Bebot".
