Julie Benz was born on May 1, 1972 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. She is an American actress.

Biography and Career :

In 1988 she was a contestant along David Schilling at the U.S. Championships in junior ice dancing. She started ice skating in 1975 and in 1986 because of a stress fracture had to take a break. She had attended the Franklin Regional Sr. High School in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

Her parents are a surgeon and a figure ice skater. She ended her career as a figure skater when she was seventeen. After she finished school she decided to go to Los Angeles and start an acting career.

At first she received some guest roles and then year after year she became more famous. In 2006 she received the Satellite Award for Supporting Actress in a Series with the role in "Dexter".

On May 30, 1998 she married John Kassir. She is a great woman, talented, smart and sexy and she has a great career now. Her fans can't wait to see her next roles and they support and encourage her. There is no doubt she will continue doing a great job and she will receive many awards.
