Biography and Career :
She grew up in Soho where her parents had a pottery business. He decided that she would be a great actress when she was very young so at eleven years old she wrote a letter to the director of La Mama Theater to obtain an audition.
She had success and he obtained roles at Matthew: School of Life and The Sandalwood Box, at the Kitchen Theater. Her television career started with a role in Ghostwriter in 1993 and 1994 and after this she obtained a guest role in medical drama "Chicago Hope".
After this in the next years she played in other
for TV made movies like "Before Women Had Wings" and "The '60's". First appearance in a big screen movie was in 1996 in "I Love You, I Love You Not" with
Claire Danes and
Jude Law. Other small role had in "The Devil's Own" (1997) and in "Wide Awake" (1998).
