Joyful Drake was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 24, 1976, the second older girl. As a child, she exhibited a desire to pursue modeling and acting and possessed a quick wit. She is a former dancer for the Milwaukee Bucks Energie Dance team.
She has had roles in Hair Show with Mo'nique as well as guest staring roles in such shows as "The Game" and "Cuts". She is currently a writer and producer of a TV movie slated for release in December 2010 called "Glass Heels" about two women who were displaced from their jobs and turn to exotic dancing as a means of support.
