In 1985 her role as Terry Griffith in "Just One of the Guys" was one of her best. She achieved cult status afte r that. She also did another film "The Last Hunt" in 1985.

After the year 1985 however, Joyce started appearing in guest appearances in many television sitcoms. Her first appearance was in "Freddy’s Nightmares" then "Mancuso FBI", "Midnight Caller", "Life stories", "Raven", "Melrose Place" etc. Her last appearance on television was in 2005 as herself in "I love the 1980’s 3-D". She had recurring role in L.A. L.AW.

She also appeared in two TV movies. These are "Police Story-Monster Manor" in 1985 and "Murder in High Places" in 1991.
