Joy Enriquez (birth name Joy Charity Enriquez) was born on June 6, 1979 in Whittier, California, USA. She is a popular singer.

Biography and Career :

Joy started to sing when she was just five years old even before she started to read at her kindergarten graduation and she impressed the audition. From that moment her dream was to become a famous singer. Her dream started to become true ten years later when she went to Star Search series and won female vocalist category for 11 consecutive weeks.

After this she had some offers from different producers and she started to work with Babyface and LA Reid at LaFace/Arista Records. Babyface granted her for a girl group and she accepted but her dream was to sing alo ne. In 2001 appeared her first album called "Joy Enriquez" and for this album a lot of writers and producers like Rodney Jerkins, Fred Jerkins, Soulshock and Karlin, and of course, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds contributed and made it to sound like a sweet R&B feeling.

Her first single on this album "Tell Me How you Feel" had a big success. On March 7, 2006 appeared her second album "Atmosphere of Heaven" on the independent label "Joyful Child" formed by Rodney Jerkins and Joy. The single "Get to Know Him" became label for the new sound the contemporary Christian sound. She also released the soundtrack for "Anna and the King" called "How Can I Not Love You".

- On April 4, 2004 she married with Rodney Jerkins.
- She said many times that if she won't became a singer probably she would be a psychologist.
