Biography and Career :

Jordana Brewster was born in Panama City, Panama to Alden Brewster, an American investment banker and Maria Joao Leal de Sousa, a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model from Brazil. Jordana Brewster studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York and graduated from the Professional Children's School in New York. Jordana Brewster then enrolled at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, graduating in 2004. Her grandfather Kingman Brewster, Jr. is a former president of Yale.

Jordana Brewster made her debut on the daytime soap opera, All My Children, in a one-time appearance playing Anita Santos. Brewster returned back to daytime o n As the World Turns as Nikki Munson from 1995 to 1998. It was her role as Mia Toretto in The Fast and the Furious that has been her most popular role to date.

Jordana Brewster dated Mark Wahlberg from 2000 to June 2001 and has also recently dated Derek Jeter and Jay Penske. In 2002 Stuff magazine named Jordana Brewster the 96th hottest woman in their "102 Sexiest Women in the World".
