John Mayer (birth name John Clayton Mayer) was born on October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. He is a popular singer.
Biography and Career :
He had attended Berklee School of Music from Boston. In 1990 he started playing the guitar. At first he worked in a supermarket in Fairfield, Connecticut. His parents, Richard and Margaret Mayer are 19 years apart.
He debuted on his favorite radio, XM Satellite Radio with the single "Waiting On the World to Change" in 2006. His first album is called "Inside Wants Out" and it was released in 1999. After this John composed other six albums which were very appreciated.
Some of his success singles are "No Such Thing", "Your Body Is a Wonderland" , "Bigger Than My Body", "Daughters", "Who Did You Think I Was" and "Dreaming
With a Broken Heart". Now (2007) he has a contract with Sony BMG. He is also involved in several philanthropic activities about global warming.
