John Huss John Huss (c. 1373-1415) was a Bohemian church reformer, rector of Prague University from 1402, who was excommunicated for attacks on ecclesiastical abuses.

Short Bioghraphy:

He was summoned before the Council of Constance (1414), defended the English reformer Wycliffe, rejected the pope's authority, and was burned at the stake. His followers were called Hussites.

John Huss was a Czech priest, philosopher and rector at Charles University in Prague.
