John F. Kennedy John F. Kennedy (full name John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy) was born on Tuesday, May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA and was of Irish descent. He was the 35th President of the United States.

Biography and Career:

John F. Kennedy got his graduation degree from Harvard in 1940 and joined the Navy in 1943. He made his identification as a hero when his PT boat was about to sunk by the destruction of Japanese attacker ten he rescued and saved a large number of people.

After returning from war he entered in Democratic congress and on 12 September married a beautiful girl. His glorious (profiles in courage) is well known to all and won Pulitzer Prize.

John F. Kennedy got the Democratic nomination for Vice President in 1956 and was able to be first ballot nominee for pr esident after four years. His debates with Republican candidate Nixon got world wide fame and he won the presidency by a very narrow margin.

John F. Kennedy got the peak of fame by saying Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country. His ambition was to make America again an accelerating power. Moreover his economic policies helped U.S to maintain a stable Economy to a large extent.

He tried to overcome unhygienic condition of poverty and unemployment. He called for new civil rights legislations and took some serious steps for equality of rights of common people. He was the 2nd youngest President.

He was the 1st only catholic President. The famous events occurred during his government are the Bay of Pigs invasion, the Cuban missile crisis, the space race and early events of Vietnam War.

John F. Kennedy became the victim of a bullet on November 22, 1963. He was the 2nd President to be assassinated.
