He was a very good student and took a keen interest in politics. He attended the Harvard University in 1755. He fell in love with a beautiful girl Abigail and afterwards she became Abigail Adams. Before becoming second president of US, he remained vice president for two terms. These were the Adams' revolutionary thoughts and views which anchored him two terms vice president and the second president of the United States.
Adams came to bulge in the initial stages of the American Revolution. As an important representative from Massachusetts to the Conti
nental Congress, he played a key role in persuading Congress to accept the United States Declaration of Independence. In Europe he was the most important representative of congress. Moreover he was main role of peace policy with Great Britain and was chiefly amenable for accepting important loans from Amsterdam. The Most valuable importance and ability of his presidency was the peaceful resolution of the Quasi-War crisis with France in 1798.
When he could not succeed in reelection against Thomas Jefferson, he and his wife organized a family of historians, historians and politicians which was famous as Adams political family. John Quincy Adams, the sixth President of the United States was the son of Adams. Although his contributions and revolutionary steps were not given so much coverage like of other leaders in that time but now in modern world these are accepted and recognized with great importance. He Built up the U.S. Navy and ended war with France through diplomacy. On July 4, 1826, Adams died at his home in Quincy. He was the nation's longest-living President.
