Jodie Foster (real name Nee Alicia Christian Foster) was born on November 19, 1962 in
Los Angeles, California and is a great actress. Besides this she is a talented director and producer.
Biography and Career :
Jodie Foster started her career at the age of 2. She had attended the Yale University and managed to graduate magna cum laude. In 1997 she received the honorary Doctorate from them.
When she was a child she appeared in few commercials and the first role came in 1970 in "Menace on the Mountain". Six years later she was doing a great job in "Taxi Driver" and was becoming a popular actress. In 1988 came the first Oscar after the role in "The Accused".
Another important role was the one in "The Si
lence of the Lambs". Other roles of her were in movies like "Contact", "Panic Room", "Flightplan" or "Inside Man".
In 1990 she was the founder of Production Company EGG PICTURES in Los Angeles. She gave birth to her child, Kit, in September 2001. Until now (2007) she had won many awards and honors including two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes. She also received three BAFTA awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
She is a great woman, actress and during the years she has proved what she is capable of and how talented she is. We wish her good luck and are sure her career will continue having an enormous success.
