Biography and Career :
Joana Benedek left Romania at age 15, in 1987 and came to Venezuela, where she lived with some relatives. Joana Benedek continued her studies in Caracas until an model agency invited her to work as a model and her natural beauty landed her a career on 'the catwalk'.
Joana Benedek acted in the soap opera "Pecado de Amor" for 18 months. In 1997, her agent sent some pictures to New York, where she was required for an important make up franchise. During her stay in New York Joanna took dramatic art classes at Susan Grace Academy. One day she was invited to host 'Lo Nuestro Awards' ceremony and afterwards more acting work c
ame her way.
Joana Benedek left her native land in search of work. Joana Benedek first moved to Venezuela before moving to Mexico. In Caracas she continued to study, but later left her studies to work as a model.
In 1997 Joana Benedek signed a contract with a prestigious cosmetics company in New York. During her stay in the city, she decided to study acting in the Academy of Susan Grace.
Joana Benedek was later discovered by a Mexican producer, which began her career as an actress in Mexico.
