Jessica Stroup was born on October 23, 1986, in Anderson, South Carolina. She studied at the University of Georgia. Thereafter, she moved to California to pursue a career in acting.

Jessica appeared in several advertisements for companies like Dentyne, Honda etc. She also worked in a number of independent productions and says those works helped her learn more about acting.

She got her first big opportunity in the show Unfabulous in 2005. Later that year, she also acted in the horror show Vampire Beats. She also appeared in the show on ABC entitled This Christmas and also grabbed a spot on the show Grey’s Anatomy in an episode. She was also seen in the show Reaper and in the movie Prom Night (2008). Her next movie is Homecoming and she is also scheduled to work in the show 90210.
