Biography and Career :
She started her career as a model when Michele Miller, an agent at "International Model Management" agency in Canada, found her in a coffee shop. After that Steven Meisel, a famous photographer, noticed her and the success came immediately. After winning the Los Angeles Model Look Search in 2002 she appeared in Vogue magazine and modeled for important designers and brands as Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Vera Wang, Valentino, Miu Miu, Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Holt Renfrew.
In 2004 she appeared in the film "Agent Orange". One year later her friend, Marc Jacobs, created a bag inspired by her: The Marc Jacobs Stam.
